PTA Info

Welcome to Memorial Drive Elementary.  As we begin MDE’s 70th school year, we can be proud of our school’s rich history as we look toward an excellent future for our children.  This includes the leadership of our new principal, Dr. Kathleen Jeremiassen, who we are honored to welcome to MDE.

The Parent Teacher Association is an organization committed to supporting our remarkable teachers and school administration and talented students. Members of the PTA include parents of MDE students, faculty members and professional staff.  Thank you to all the parent volunteers who have already committed to serving this school year. Your time spent in the classroom, library, one of the many fun and exciting events, or serving on one of the PTA committees, is greatly appreciated.  The financial generosity of our families allows us to better enhance our school, fund technology upgrades, support teacher training opportunities, plan teacher appreciation events and so much more.  We are very grateful for the countless volunteer hours and level of support you give to MDE.

There are many opportunities to volunteer, whatever your talents, interests, or work and family schedules.  As a volunteer, you can become involved in a range of areas, including fundraising, curriculum enrichment programs, and community events throughout the year that need your support. Whether it is being a room parent, supporting the Book Fair, assisting during Cultural Arts Week, participating in the Annual Fund, attending the Auction in February, or helping with other special events and programs, you are making a difference!

See 2018-2019 Board Members to meet the Executive Board Members and Committees  for a list of the Committee Chairs leading efforts to manage the all of the amazing programs the PTA provides.  A weekly E-News will be sent with  the important information you need to know for the upcoming week.   Visit the PTA Calendar for dates of events, meetings and volunteer opportunities.
